PMS just finished up another hardscape restoration project in the area of Washington Township which is part of the Romeo School District. The project was installed by Chris Obrey from Obrey Brick Paving. Chris, the owner, was contacted by the client to do some paver cleaning, sanding, and sealing. He let his client know that he did not provide brick paver sealing and restoration services, but recommended PMS.

The client reached out to us and set up an appointment with one of our veteran sales associates. The client really didn’t want it sealed or have the look of wet brick pavers. They wanted the pavers pressure cleaned and polymeric sanded with the brown poly sand.
Our sales rep showed the client the areas of wear that have really taken a beating from the winter and summer seasons. The client understood but still only wanted it cleaned and poly sanded. We pressure cleaned the romanesque colonnade pavers with our high pressure cleaner and rotating nozzle, already a huge difference.
We checked back with the client to make sure that the poly sand was the option that they wanted and the client wanted to talk to the rep one more time. The rep again showed the client the areas of wear and tear and other areas of shade where they didn’t see the sunlight or the harsh elements.
Since PMS crews carry a variety of tools and products, the client decided to have the brick pavers sealed. It didn’t take us any time to just change over and apply our fine grade dry kiln sand and sealer by paint brush and roller. The client was extremely pleased they had taken our recommendation are were very happy with the final outcome.
The cost was only $150 more to protect all the joints and the pavers and protect from weeds and the pavers from becoming further damaged.
