The first thing we will do at this client’s house this year is use high-pressure units and tips to blast out all of the loose sand on the patio and front porch. Then, on the following day, we will install brown polymeric sand to lock the paver joints in place.
We will not be sealing the brick pavers on this application for two reasons. One, we want to avoid a possible build-up on the pavers. Should a build-up occur, the pavers would turn white and milky. Another reason we will not be sealing is because we do not want the pavers to become slippery due to over coating.
